Our Little Boracay of the North...

Do you want to tranquil for a day, to escape from the ruckus of the city, or just a simple weekend getaway? Well, may I suggest to you our beautiful sandy beach off the north coast of my hometown; Anda, Pangasinan. The Tondol White Sand Beach (TWSB) features shallow waters that are all right for the young children to swim by without the fears of their parents. It is perfect for those who are seeking for peace, quiet, and tranquillity. Yet, if you are brave enough to get the microphone, the surrounding resorts can grant you with rentable karaoke machine. It is also a great site for photography enthusiasts, for seeking starfish by the shoreline, and playing volleyball by the sand. You can also cook your own food at the beach. There are huts for rent for you to stay. The best time to visit is during summer time.

Feeling adventurous? Not far from the TWSB is the Cory Island accessible by a motor boat. It is believe that it was just an islet that grew into its current size. The island was comprised of beautiful skeletons of dead corals wash up by the tides. Visitors can collect some of it for it was best for ornamental. You can also look for sea urchins which are delightful to eat when grilled. Then again, from the beach, you can spot the Tanduyong Island. It was a marvellous place because it can be reach by means of walking. For a path will be revealed when low tide. The northwest side of the island is the best spot for bathing for its crystal clear waters. Then there was the Panacalan Sandbar (not Pannalacan) where you can camp out with your friends.
